As Wedding Season is coming upon us, I wanted to give a few tips to many 2015 brides.
Tip 1: Have a restful night.
Having a restful night before the big day will keep you refreshed and stress-free. Remember to wake up earlier, have a great morning breakfast and relax.
Tip 2: Give yourself extra time
Always give yourself extra time, this is crucial for when your getting ready, so that before you walk down the isle and become the MRS, you can snap some rad, bridal party photographs and you won’t sweat trying to make it on time!
Tip 3: Wear comfortable, broken-in shoes
Always break your shoes in. Buy them a month in advance and walk around the house doing chores just to make sure your feet get used the shoe. You don’t want Wedding Portraits in barefeet (Unless your on the beach, well then HELLO pretty toes!)
Tip 4: Hiring a Wedding Coordinator
Honestly, a Wedding Coordinator will ease you into your day and ensure everyone ( I mean, EVERYONE) is on time. They will make sure you Wedding Day will run smoothly, plan each detail from the moment you wake up to the last dance, this person will be your angel!
Tip 5: A Wedding Survival Kit
All Brides need this! A simple survival kit will ensure all your makeup is touched up before photographs. Some things to add:
- Deodorant (we all sweat!)
- Simple first aid kit
- Safety pins
- Tide to go pen! (will save your life)
- Flats for dancing your night away
& anything that you feel YOU may need the day of!
Tip 6: It’s your day! Enjoy it!
At the end of the night, your friends, family, bridal party are there to ensure everything goes well, enjoy your day, become the Mrs., and be happy. This usually only happens once! Take 5 mins at the reception to take it all in!
Hope you enjoyed my top 6 tips for preparing for your wedding! Now it’s my turn to prep for you!
