I have met an amazing and remarkable person, inside and out, Missy MacKIntosh, an inspirational make-up artist from Salmon Arm. This is our 2nd and 3rd session together for a day of collaborating. I could not be more excited to share these moments with our two models, Chelsea- our wild rose and Angel- beauty of the lake. The story of two totally opposite photo shoots, in one day.
Our two shoots took place in Salmon Arm, BC. The inspiration for Wild Rose became about from an inspirational image of hair, styled in a rose pattern. What a wonderful and unique idea. Our model Chelsea, was the perfect fit for this session. Remarkable and stunning makeup while hiking up in a forest to capture the natural and realism of this shoot. Alongside, Victoria Skofteby Photography, we were able to create some amazingly portraits.
Our second session took place in Sunnybrae, off the back road on the Shuswap Lake. As the smoke filled the air, it was the essence to create the mood of the this beauty of the lake. I had previously worked with Angel for another shoot and I couldn’t wait to get the camera in front of her again, she is an outstanding model with beauty that captures any eye. She is a sweet and very caring individual who’s sparkling heart makes you want to be with her. With the assistance of my fabulous mother-in-law and Missy, we were able to capture some unique portraits for Angel to add to her portfolio. We wanted to take this shoot 360 degree turn from the last. With Angel, Missy and I waist deep in the lake, it was a challenge to capture those shots before being pushed over by the waves. It was definitely a great learning curve with passion of water! [/textbox][/panel][panel][slider]
