- To swim in the Caribbean Sea (Although it was very salty, bleh)
- To photograph a destination Wedding
When I first came across the ad Camille had posted in regards to seeking a Wedding Photographer for her wedding back in April, I replied with cheeriness. I was so ecstatic to meet Cam & Rae to discuss their upcoming nuptials. Once they decided to have me there, I invited Peter. This was my first time travelling with my gear, including tripods, light stands and of course, my babies. I ensured all of our equipment was stowed with us on board in a rolling case (saves me every time).
Nov 18th and off we went. As we approached the Cancun Airport, the weather was very questionable. It was pouring, not the rain that we get here, for a couple of minutes, but the tropical storm type, big raindrops and puddles everywhere! It was an interesting start.
The next day, was beautiful BLUE skies and gorgeous views! It was a hot day and the pool time began! Part of the week, we did a pre-wedding session that included the couple and their families and friends hanging out at the pool. It was definitely a lovely session, in the ocean.
The day of the Wedding arrived, Saturday Nov 21, 2015. It was definitely HOT and it was definitely sweaty. The bride was prepped by one of the guests and friend of hers. Cam looked perfect, her makeup was simple and very well done.
The groom was paired in linen pants and white shirts, after getting to know the boys, they do clean up well.
It was a beautiful ceremony, the flowers complimented marvellously and was shaded behind the hotel to keep us all cool.
